Event History

Salon Privé is the brainchild of Andrew and David Bagley, two brothers with a lifelong passion for supercars. Having visited all of the major events around the world, they noticed that there was very little, if any, opportunity for super and luxury car manufacturers to present their latest models openly and safely – supercars attracted crowds and crowds meant barriers.

Their idea was to create an exclusive environment that was more Garden Party than motor show; a glamorous, relaxing social occasion where premium automotive and luxury brands could entertain their guests in style and meet new customers.

The show was launched at The Hurlingham Club in South West London in 2006 and has since gone from strength to strength, becoming a world-renowned automotive event which now ranks alongside two of the world’s best events, Pebble Beach and Villa d’Este.

After 5 years at The Hurlingham Club, the show moved to Syon House, and in 2015 made the move to the magnificent Blenheim Palace. Moving to Blenheim Palace allowed Salon Privé to continue its evolution as it brings together its extraordinary collection of classic, super, hyper, mega and concept cars and motorcycles. Seamlessly combining them with unrivalled hospitality and fine dining, Salon Privé has grown to become a truly unique and unforgettable event.
