Anna-Louise graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2003 having received first class honours from Central Saint Martins.
She is often described as a Reportage Artist, for much of her work is created on location using quick-drying ink on paper. In 2008 Anna-Louise attended the Monaco Grand Prix Historique for the first time and began capturing the event live whilst sitting in the paddock and grandstands. Her unique and easily recognisable style proved to be very popular with a number of commissions and invitations to other events like Monza, Silverstone, Goodwood, Spa, the Nürburgring, Villa D’Este and Pebble Beach. Classic & Sports Car was the first magazine to feature her work and since then she has been published in a large number of other magazines and automotive books worldwide and exhibited at the Le Mans Museum and The Royal Automobile Club.
Anna-Louise has always been interested in depicting a variety of subjects. In 2005 she was commissioned by the Ministry of Defence to paint their aircraft carriers, harrier jump jets and helicopters. These images were used in sponsored exhibitions and as part of the Royal Navy’s recruitment campaign. Other interests include painting large abstract cityscapes of London & New York where she lived from 2012-2015.
The Limited Edition prints exhibited at Salon Privé are a collection of her paintings created in Monaco since 2008. Her originals tend to sell at the events she paints at, however, she accepts commissions and much of her work nowadays is created in her London studio on a much larger scale in oil on canvas.
