A Tale as Old as (Blenheim) Time
Blenheim Time, established in the 17th Century by the 4th Duke of Marlborough, highlighted the exact alignment of the Palace to GMT, setting Blenheim’s clocks approximately 5 and a half minutes slower than London. Today, thirty antique clocks remain in and around the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site, all meticulously maintained and restored by the Palace’s Official Timekeeper.
