Honouring the Past, Celebrating the Future

Thursday brings another opportunity to admire some of the world’s most exceptional and desirable cars on display on Blenheim’s magnificent South Lawn. The expert judges will make their final deliberations and Thursday sees both the Churchill Cup for most exceptional design and the Best of Show Trophies presented.

Enjoy the atmosphere as the concours cars take to the stage to receive their awards during the morning’s Churchill Cup Parade, and later in the day the excitement builds before the announcement of the Duke of Marlborough Award, People’s Choice and the Best of Show.

As a Concours, the reputation of Salon Privé precedes it, with no other event in the UK rivalling the sensational venue, hospitality, brands on display and show-stopping array of classic cars.

The Honorary Awards Parade

Thursday morning gets underway with the concours Show Field on parade and Honorary Awards presented on stage. Max Girado is your emcee and shares what makes these cars so special and what features stood out to the judges.

Best of Show

The Best Of Show is announced on stage on Thursday afternoon. A 1956 Ferrari 250 GT TdF Berlinetta by Zagato was awarded Best of Show at the 2022 Salon Privé Concours presented by Aviva. The 250 GT TdF impressed ICJAG Judges and Blenheim Palace’s guests alike and was part of a keenly contested group of Class Winners.

Salon Privé LIVE

Engines are fired up for a final Grand Depart from the lawns of Blenheim Palace through the streets of historic Woodstock. A real party atmosphere takes over for the early evening as streets are lined with enthusiastic crowds of all ages, waving flags and taking photographs. The local pubs and restaurants are open for all to enjoy while admiring the cars.
