Hypercar Heaven at This Year’s Salon Privé
Classic & Supercar Sunday 4th September 2022

Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire OX20 1UL | 28 August - 31 August 2024

Hypercars represent the peak of automotive performance and the fastest, most expensive and most powerful four-wheel achievements in the world.

Just under 10 years ago, Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche took the industry by storm by releasing their hypercars that formed the ‘Holy Trinity’, crowning themselves as the kings of the hypercar world at the time. Since then, the term hypercar has grown more and more. We simply define a hypercar as a top-tier supercar that bests all or most of the elements of standard supercars from acceleration, price, rarity, handling, top speed, sound and appearance.

To celebrate this, we’re putting together a very special display of ‘Hypercar Heaven’ cars for one day only. Come and discover this exciting collection on Sunday 4th September at Salon Privé Classic & Supercar.

Fun facts

In general, most modern supercars have between 550 and 750bhp, however, hypercars tend to have 800+bhp and will propel their drivers to 62 mph in under 3 seconds. Although the electrification of hypercars is becoming more and more popular, it’s still common to find a large petrol-powered power unit in modern hypercars. Bugatti utilises no fewer than 16 cylinders in their Chiron Super Sport (pictured) which produces a mind-bending 1,600bhp while the Automobili Pininfarina Battista Anniversario produces 1,900bhp from a powerful 120kWh battery and four motors.
