Alfa Romeo 6c 3000 CM Superflow IV

Four concept cars in one!

The elegant and incredible Alfa Romeo 6c 3000 CM Superflow IV will grace Blenheim Palace grounds this August for the world-renowned Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elégance in the Curvaceous Coupes class.

This Alfa Romeo began its life as a race car with a very different coupe body built by Carrozzeria Colli, built to contest top events like the Mille Miglia and Le Mans. This particular Alfa Romeo is four concept cars in one, in total eight 6c 3000 CM’s were built.

Five-time World Champion, Juan Manuel Fangio, finished second in the 1953 Mille Miglia driving a Colli Coupe 3000CM. Of the eight 6C 3000 CM’s built, two were converted to street cars, one by Boano for Argentine President Juan Peron, and another was given to Italian designer, Pininfarina.

Pininfarina then used the second car to evolve the four prototype design studies ending with this incredible Superflow and we are delighted to see it at Salon Privé 2017.
