Caterham AeroSeven Concept set to shine Salon Privé
Iconic British sportscar manufacturer Caterham Cars will be exhibiting its AeroSeven Concept in the Concepts and Prototypes display at Salon Privé – the home of The British Supercar Show and Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elégance.
The Caterham Seven was born over 40 years ago, with a philosophy of delivering accessible fun through unrivalled performance and handling. Now available in seven models from the entry-level Seven 160 to the extreme 620 R, the Seven remains a favourite for enthusiasts.
Based on an updated interpretation of the highly-acclaimed Seven CSR platform, the carbon-fibre bodied AeroSeven Concept will launch to 100kph (62.5mph) in under four seconds. The AeroSeven Concept is stacked with race car-inspired features, including aerodynamic styling, an exclusive F1-style steering wheel with driver-focused functionality and an intuitive fully active Graphical Display Unit.
The AeroSeven is an evolution of the legendary British sportscar; combining skills, experience, technology and expertise of the entire Caterham Group, encompassing Caterham Technology & Innovation, Caterham Composites and Caterham Motorsport.
