Richard Hammond announced as judge of 20th anniversary Concours de Vente at Salon Privé
We’re thrilled to announce that motoring icon Richard Hammond will return to Salon Privé to help close our landmark 20th anniversary celebration in style.
On Bank Holiday Sunday, 31 August, Hammond will take his place on the judging panel for the Concours de Vente, a new addition to this year’s event, and will also present the coveted Lifestyle Club Trophy during our inaugural Supercar Lifestyle Club Day.
A New Chapter for Sunday at Salon Privé
For the first time at Blenheim Palace, the Concours de Vente will showcase a curated selection of investment-grade cars for sale, brought by the UK’s most respected classic car specialists and restorers. Each vehicle will be eligible for judging, with Hammond and a panel of esteemed experts awarding the prestigious Prix d’Honneur during the Sunday finale parade.
The day will also see the debut of Supercar Lifestyle Club Day — a vibrant celebration of car culture, welcoming the UK’s most distinguished mixed-marque supercar and lifestyle clubs alongside elite single-marque groups. These curated collections will fill the lawns of Blenheim in a spectacular display of automotive passion and individuality.

In addition to judging, guests will have the chance to meet Richard Hammond in person, explore his new artisan spirits — Ratio Gin and Iron Ridge Whisky — and enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage from the DriveTribe team, live from the paddock.

Display Your Car — and Be Judged by Richard Hammond
Sunday’s event isn’t just for clubs. Any owner of a prestige, unmodified classic, sports, super or hypercar is invited to join the paddock and potentially be judged by Hammond himself. Among the clubs already confirmed are Automotive Utopia, Driven+, SCC Private Members Club, Supercar Club Wales, and Women in Wheels.
As co-founder David Bagley puts it, “Owners can experience a real bucket list moment by driving into the Palace grounds and parking on the lawns of Blenheim during Supercar Sunday. We’re expecting some truly unique motors to come along for this special experience. We’re honoured to welcome Richard — a true enthusiast — back to Salon Privé for what promises to be a spectacular finale.”
