Spectacular Inaugural Year
Following a spectacular inaugural year at Blenheim Palace, the organisers are thrilled with the prospect of entering their 2nd decade with a long term partnership with the 12th Duke of Marlborough and his team now in place.
Blenheim Palace proved to be the perfect setting for this quintessentially English event with its sensational Baroque architecture and stunning grounds and surrounding scenery. With the additional space allowing more brands to participate and parades to take place, each day was a spectacle in its own right and plans are already underway to develop these opportunities further next year.
Centrally located and with easy optional access via road, rail or air, the event attracted a record number of guests in 2015 not only from the UK, but also overseas. The inaugural Pirelli Performance & Prestige Competition which was located in the Great Court on the Saturday and was no less successful with in excess of 5,000 visitors alone attending that day – in all, more than 11,000 visitors attended over the 3 days.
Next year will see the event settle into its new home with an improved layout, revised hours, ticket prices and the launch of a new, dedicated “show within a show” for Classic Car Dealers & Restorers sitting alongside an expanding display of Super, Hyper and Concept cars as well as the Luxury Village and Art Fair.
